The stunning mountains are the number one draw for visitors to Pakistan.

The three highest mountain ranges in the world all converge in northern Pakistan.

This unique geographical feature gives rise to a fact that it has more mountains over 7500m than anywhere else on the planet which in turn means the trekking possibilities are endless.

The K2 base camp trek is the most popular trek in Pakistan and often voted as one of the best in the world. It takes you along the 62km Baltoro Glacier to Concordia and then on to the K2 base camp itself. We prefer to return via a circular loop by traversing the 5600m Gondogoro La. This is the only place on the planet where one can see four peaks over 8000m. However, the great thing is that despite its popularity, trekking in Pakistan attracts nowhere near the numbers you will see in other trekking destinations like Nepal or Patagonia.

But Pakistan is a lot more than just K2. Please visit the ‘Trekking’ page in our ‘Tours’ section for detailed information and stunning images of the treks that we have personally been on and taken photos of. These are just samples so if you are aware of any other treks that you have heard about but are not listed, just ask us as we can easily arrange any trek in Pakistan.

We can also easily tag on any number of trekking days to a suggested adventure or cultural tour so you can take in the fabled Hunza Valley or perhaps the pagan Kalash tribes and valleys of Chitral. This way you experience some of the mountain culture and people. Why not try mixing and matching your trek to one of our suggested itineraries. The choice is yours!
